For sale is an X-Men #1 Walking Deadpool Variant. The variant, featuring Deadpool in an homage to The Beatles Abbey Road album cover, was signed by cover artist Arthur Suydam at Wizard World Indianapolis on 2/13/15. It has been graded a 9.8 (NM/MT) by CBCS as part of their Authentic Signature Program (ASP).
The CBCS ASP is similar to the CGC Signature Series (SS) in that both companies have witnesses that verify the signature is genuine. The CBCS slab, however, is good for life and does not require re-slabbing, as is suggested every 7-10 years for books in CGC slabs.
I wanted to point out that the slab was recently received from CBCS and is still sealed in the plastic bag used by CBCS to prevent scratching of the outer holder during shipping. This is why the slab may appear wavy or distorted in the pictures. I'm happy to take more pictures upon request, but rest assured, this book looks beautiful and pristine in person.
