SC, Disney Comics, nd, original story published in newspapers 1939. Art and story by the great Floyd Gottfredson. Unpaginated. One of the great early Mickey stories rather full of slapstick and cliff-hangers (how different from the Mickey Mouse Club of later years!). Shows Mickey as Gottfredson (and Walt?) envisioned him at the time.
