Vintage Mutt and Jeff Comic Strip Character Chalkware Statues
DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a pair of chalkware statues of the iconic Mutt and Jeff comic strip characters. On measures 2” by 4 ¼” and the other measures 6 ½” by 2 ½” and they are made of chalkware.
CONDITION: Please study the photos and judge for yourself. NOTE: both statues have some chips on the front of the hat brims that could easily be touched up. Mutt also has some tiny places near his tie that are missing paint and Jeff has missing paint near his eye. Considering the age and fragile nature of chalkware, both piece show well.
