This is the complete run of the Dark Phoenix Saga.  It contains the first appearances of Kitty Pryde, Emma Frost (White Queen), Dazzler, the Hellfire Club and, of course, Dark Phoenix.  These comics are all midgrade or higher. 
#129 - "God Spare the Child..."  1st appearances of Kitty Pryde and the members of the Hellfire Club (Emma Frost, Sebastian Shaw, Donald Pierce, Harry Leland).  Kitty meets the X-Men.  The X-Men (unknowingly) fight Hellfire Club minions; Hellfire Knights.  All comics are by Chris Claremont and John Byrne.
#130 - "Dazzler"  1st appearance of Dazzler.  Dazzler and X-Men fight Hellfire Knights and Hellfire troops.  
#131 - "Run For Your Life!"  X-Men vs Hellfire Club; mainly the White Queen and minions.
#132 - "And Hellfire is Their Name!"  X-Men vs Hellfire Club.  1st appearance of Sage and Jean Grey as the Black Queen.  X-Men are defeated and captured.
#133 - "Wolverine: Alone!"  Wolverine unleashes hell upon the Hellfire Club.  He tears apart 3 Hellfire troops that later become Reavers.  
#134 - "Too Late, the Heroes!"   The X-Men escape and fight the Hellfire Club.  Jean Grey/Black Queen becomes Dark Phoenix for the first time ever.  The X-Men, with Dark Phoenix in tow, retreat.  Dark Phoenix blows up the blackbird.
#135 - "Dark Phoenix!"   The X-Men survive the Blackbird exploding.  Dark Phoenix flies off into space.  Dark Phoenix eats a star and kills loads of aliens.  Cameos by Lilandra, Senator Robert Kelly, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Dr. Strange and the Silver Surfer.
#136 - "Child of Light and Darkness!"   The X-Men prepare for the return of Dark Phoenix.  The Shi'ar meet and decide Dark Phoenix must die.  Prof. X and Dark Phoenix psychically battle.  Jean Grey is restored.  They all get teleported away.
#137 - "The Fate of the Phoenix!"   The X-Men appear aboard Empress Lilandra's imperial cruiser.  The X-Men must fight the Imperial Guard for the fate of Jean Grey.  Jean Grey decides to die.  Cyclops witnesses her death and basically loses it.
#138 - "Elegy"   Cyclops leaves the X-Men.
