This auction is for The Spirit #2 (Kitchen Sink, 1973) graded 9.8 (Near Mint/Mint with WHITE pages) by PGX. The comic features art and story by Will Eisner. According to the CGC census, only five copies have been graded 9.8 (the highest grade). Unfortunately, the PGX census is down, so I am unable to check there; however, I'd be willing to bet that this is the only copy that has been graded 9.8 by PGX. Very hard to find in this condition.

*Note about PGX cases: It appears that every case has a minor defect on the left edge toward the middle, what looks like a small scrape. I inquired with the owner of PGX, and he confirmed that this is a common manufacturing defect. This defect is not very noticeable and does not affect the condition of the comic nor the view of the comic from the front or back.
