Cover is not attached to book. Spine does have significant wear but is still in one piece. Cover still has beautiful olive sheen. Book is complete and tightly secured by staples. Pages are are tanning slightly but aren't brittle to the touch, still supple. Comic comes with backing board, protective sleeve, and 2 comic book extenders to prevent yellowing.
