You are bidding on a genuine issue of Tales of Suspense #39, first appearance of Iron Man from 1963!
-The condition is best described as fair, with the cover and back being the worst pages, and the inside being faded but in much better condition, completely readable.
-No pages are missing, all pages are legible and no coupons are cut out.
-The spine is holding together but is very fragile and probably could use some tape.
-Probably was not always protected and treated well but has been protected for the last 20 years.
-There are tears along the front and back of the spine and the left side and top of the cover are faded out and hard to see.
