Item # GG96

Tales Of Suspense #39 - March 1963 - this landmark Silver Age Marvel Comic features the origin and first appearance of Iron Man! Comic is in Fine minus condition with spine and edge wear, an ink arrival date on the top of the front cover and a 1/2" spine tear. This comic is from an original owner comic book collection which consists of approximately 10,000 comics from the 1940s to the late 1970s. The original owner began collecting in the early 1960s in the NY City area and every comic from 1963-1979 in this collection was bought by him directly from the newsstand. He stopped collecting shortly after 1979 and this collection has remained in storage since then. I have been fortunate to have acquired this collection and will be selling it in my eBay store (and possibly some auction listings as well) in the coming months. Some of the highlights of this collection include a nearly complete Silver Age Marvel comic run from 1962 - 1975 including Amazing Fantasy #15, Amazing Spider-Man #1-100, Fantastic Four #2-100, Tales of Suspense #1, 3, 39-99, Avengers #1-100, Daredevil #1-100, Tales To Astonish #35-100, dozens of pre-hero/pre-code Atlas and Marvel comics, Flash #105-179, Green Lantern #2-85, early issues of Brave and the Bold including #28, 29, Justice League of America #1, 2, Captain America #12, 25, several dozen Golden Age DCs, over 100 assorted EC Comics and much more!I hope to be adding 100 or more items per week to my store inventory from this collection, so please check out my eBay store for lots of great comics!
