          So everyone knows about this issue, right? In it, a full two months before Amazing Fantasy #15, you have two characters who appear for the first time: Aunt May and Uncle Ben. And those two happen to look EXACTLY like the Aunt May and Uncle Ben who would appear a scant two months later in Peter Parker's first adventure, drawn by the same guy: the inestimable Steve Ditko.

Are they the same characters...? Who knows? It's been argued for a couple of decades now. In any event, THIS copy is a beauty. Yes, someone thought it would be clever to clean the cover with a solvent long ago (I've owned this copy since 2002), and that's really the only problem it has, other than light wear and tear to take it to a 7.5. But, really, it's quite a nice copy, and LOOK at that page quality! WHITE pages on a 1962 Marvel...?? Very tough.

And, of course, signed by the Man himself. This is the second highest graded SS copy, and the highest with white pages, so if you can look past the cleaned cover, this copy has a lot going for it. Very, very sweet copy!
