This auction offers an extremely rare MAD STYLE GUIDE produced for Mad Magazine employees only. This copy is from the files of William Gaines himself. The purpose of the guide was to ensure that the spirit and policies of the magazine were understood for all writers and artists and advertisers. The style guide is a three-ring binder filled with official Mad Magazine guidelines for artists and writers and is filled with history of the magazine, a poster, and, best of all, pages and pages of logos and images to cut and paste onto artists’ finished pages – many in full-color. This guide is rare and was auctioned off with other items from William Gaines’ personal files and his estate after his death. Binder and its contents are near mint.
Condition: Near mint and virtually unused. See scans.

Outside the U.S.: If you live outside the U.S., this will ship global priority for $18. Payments from outside the U.S. MUST use paypal.
