On January 20, 1990, I was working for a small comic shop behind the dealer tables at a convention in Houston, Texas.  Among the guests in attendance was artist John Beatty.  I had just purchased the book in this listing, and Mr. Beatty not only signed it for me, but he also adorned the first page inside the book with the striking image of Frank Castle you see in these photographs.  Mr. Beatty only provided a limited number of these sketches that day.  The sketch in this book was his second.
This has been a treasured book in my collection for the last 27 years.  However, it's time for me to let another Punisher Fan enjoy it!  
Get it just in time to coincide with The Punisher Series on Netflix!

Near-Mint, 1st Edition hardcover graphic novel.  The book is in excellent condition.  Only opened by the artist, John Beatty, at a local comic convention in Houston, Texas, in 1990.  Mr. Beatty not only signed the book for me, but used pen and ink to sketch a full-page, black-and-white, full-torso portrait of The Punisher holding hist pistol!  There are only two reasons that this book cannot be categorized in Mint condition.  Reason 1: The original shrink wrap was removed.  Reason 2: There is a very slight 1/4" tear on the corner of the dust jacket, on the back near the price and ISBN numbers.  But take a look at the photos of the item, and see for yourself, that this is certainly a beautiful book by any measure.  
No certificate of authenticity exists for this item.  However, I personally guarantee that John Beatty actually sketched the image depicted in this listing.
