You are bidding on the most famous CURT SWAN SUPERMAN MODEL SHEET he ever created for DC Comics. Famous because it is INKED BY MURPHY ANDERSON. And famous because it is certainly the most reprinted. Most notably, in the tabloid-size Amazing World of Superman (shown in the photos) and the reference work Comics: Between The Panels.
What makes this model sheet unique is that it not only features Swan and Anderson together, but it features ONE SECTION CONTAINS UN-INKED CURT SWAN PENCILS. Also in pencil is the notation that I have remembered since childhood -- 5'11" Clark Kent slouch to = 6'2" Superman
I purchased this piece in the 1980s from a classified ad in the old Comics Buyers Guide newspaper.
I later had it SIGNED BY CURT SWAN AND later by MURPHY ANDERSON at separate San Diego Cons in the 1990s.
It is PROFESSIONALLY MATTED & FRAMED. It HAS ONLY HUNG OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT in a NON-SMOKING HOME.

Though it's been decades and I honestly can't remember, I can't ever imagine myself ever having a piece of fine art glued to a matte board.
