I'm putting up for sale one of my prized possessions: 
THOR'S HAMMER MJORLIR
Issued back in 2001 by FACTORY X. LIMITED EDITION of 1500. Hammer is in MINT CONDITION and is 1:1 Life-Size scale. It's made of real metal and the sturdy wood handle is wrapped in real leather. It weighs about 16 lbs. Comes with BLACK LACQUERED WOOD DISPLAY STAND w/METAL THOR LOGO and CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.

The head of the hammer is 4" high, 7.5" long, 4" deep. The handle is wrapped with real leather and is 13" long (from the top of the hammer down, so just the handle itself is 13" - it would be about 17" from bottom of the hammer to the very top of the metal. The leather continues for another 14" with a loop at the end. This is to wrap around your hand and prepare to do the "Hammer Throw" like Thor.

The base I have has a small indent from when I accidentally dropped the hammer while picking it up. Being so heavy, it just slipped out of my hand and knocked a mark into the bottom part of the stand. It's not that bad, but it's there and still bugs me.

The hammer has some "weathering" effects on it to make it look more "battle used", but that only makes it cooler. It otherwise is in perfect condition and has been part of my personal collection since I first bought it in 2001. Smoke-Free home, keep inside, no pets, a must-see and a definite must-have for Marvel fans!

The hammer is based on the Marvel Comics Jack Kirby version, not the movie hammer, but is inscribed with the words of Odin, "Whom ever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor!". Very cool!
I am having some trouble with my camera, but as soon as I can (and especially if you inquire), I will take a few new shots of the Hammer, show the small mark on the bottom of the wood base, and a close-up of the Metal THOR Logo Plaque on the base.
This is an authentic listing and this is from my personal collection.  It is exactly as described.  I know the market on this piece goes up and down, but check past eBay listings and you'll see an EXACT MJOLNIR sold for $598 a few weeks go.
