This is a cool piece of MAD Magazine memorabilia. Produced in 1971 for E.C. Publications, this item is the original art for the "Subscribe to MAD" art found on the Letters Page of MAD Magazine issue #144. This art was drawn by Paul Coker Jr. and this art is a classic example of Paul Coker is his prime at MAD Magazine. This art was drawn on a 10" by 11 1/2" piece of art board, with an image size of 7 1/2" by 10 1/4", and it has been signed by Mr. Coker in the lower right hand corner. I will also include an issue of MAD Magazine #144 with the art, in case you wanted to frame the pieces together. This is an incredibly rare piece of MAD Magazine history, so don't miss out on this rarity.
PLEASE NOTE: Payment is due within 7 days. Period. Any item not paid for within the seven days will be relisted immediately, or offered to the underbidder, without warning. Negative feedback will then be posted, and I will block you from bidding on future auctions that I conduct.
PLEASE NOTE (to my cherished bidders who live overseas): The cost for foreign (overseas) shipping anywhere in the world has increased over 50%. Therefore, if you are going to bid, please remember that the postage cost will be almost double what it was. If the postage cost on your eBay invoice seems too high, it probably is. But, I will happily reimburse you any amount that you over paid.
The postage cost for this lot will be $7.50, and will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Foreign bidders are welcome, but the postage cost will be substantially more. I will only ship with the US Postal Service. The winning bidder will pay with PayPal, although I will consider other options. Payments are due within 7 days after auction end. Foreign bidders are welcome, but payment must be made in US $Dollars. I will happily combine shipping costs if more than one item is won. I always pack items that I sell with bubble wrap, foam peanuts, cardboard backing, or whatever else it takes to ensure safe travel. Please check out my other auctions this week for more MAD, Alfred E. Neuman, Newman, William (Bill) Gaines, and EC (E.C.) Comic memorabilia. Happy bidding, and Good Luck!
