Classics Illustrated. There are 13 marked 1/3 (picture 1) All are published by Strato publications apart from no 38 (House of the Seven Gables), no 46 (Kidnapped) ans no 68 (Julius Caesar) which are by Thorpe and Porter. As noted above no 48 (David Copperfield) has a torn corner, no 32 (Lorna Doone) is stained on the back and has a small tear at the top of the cover and no 129 (Davy Crockett) has a tear at the base of the spine.
There are 6 with a 1/- sign pasted on the top of the original price (picture 2). Scottish Chiefs (no 67) is scuffed at the edges and along with no 18 (Hunchback of Notre Dame) is published by Gilberton of NY. The other four are published by Ayers and James of Sydney.
There are 5 labelled 15c published by Gilberton of NY (picture 3)
There are 2 "A Classics in Pictures" published by Amex of London (picture 4)
There is a Classics Illustrated no 96 (Daniel Boone) which is by Thorpe and Porter but has the prices for South Africa (1/6) and Australia (2/-) on the cover (picture 5) In the same picture is a World Illustrated published by Thorpe and Porter, no 510 (French Revolution)
Postage is for Royal Mail 2nd class (they say aim to deliver in 3 days ) and signed for.
Additional info - I referred to the Royal Mail option, but the cost has not appeared on the listing. As they weigh just over 2kg and would cost £14.85 if sent as one parcel, I would send them as two small parcels at £3.90 each within the UK.
