Presenting a rare opportunity to own a 1976 SAFEGUARD SOAP PROMOTIONAL REPRINT of ACTION COMICS #1, graded at an incredible *CGC 9.8 NEAR MINT* — Reprinting in its entirety, the ORIGINAL issue of Action Comics #1, which first introduced Superman to the world in the Summer of 1938.

Back in 1976, this limited edition Safeguard Reprint had a low print run and extremely limited circulation, since it was never widely available to the general public. In fact, the only way to get a copy was to mail in 3 proofs of purchase from 3 bath-size Safeguard soap packages— But as it turns out, very few people ever bothered to redeem this free Safeguard Reprint by mail.

On the rare occasion when someone did redeem the comic, more often than not, the book would arrive damaged, as it was shipped in a flimsy envelope. What made a bad situation even worse was that many people actually cut out the savings coupon on the back cover of the Reprint, thereby instantly destroying the Safeguard Reprint's collectability and value.

Suffice it to say, this book is practically IMPOSSIBLE to find in high grades— let alone in CGC 9.8 NEAR MINT— So consider your options carefully—
