In early 1985, a little less than a year after Turtles #1 hit newsstands, Eastman & Laird were featured in "Comics Interview #27". As can be seen in the additional pic (that book is NOT included in this auction,) Comics Interview was published in B&W, which means nobody got to see the incredible colored version…until now. This piece features Raphael in a dog collar (!) and trench, jamming with his keyboard that just screams 1980's. It's also done in marker, which is a media I've never seen them use before.
The condition is great and lays flat, perfect for framing. The published image in that 3rd photo is NOT included in this auction.
