Description

From the estate of a longtime comic collector & dealer. I will not even attempt to grade it, please inspect the pictures and more can be sent upon request.

Description:
Vintage Heritage: Flash Gordon Volume 1 Number 1a comic fanzine published in 1972. It was edited and published by by Doug Murray & Richard Garrison. Third picture shows contents. It includes 62 pages including art on both covers.

In particular, from front to back. Front cover by Alex Raymond. Introduction by Doug Murray. 'Flash Gordon Faces Reality' 4 page comis strip spread by Jeff Jones. 'Flash Gordon: Super Serial' 13 page article and photo spread by Alan Asherman with art by Reed Crandall. Frank Brunner 'Smash Gordon: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Mongo' 4 page graphic comic. Gray Morrow 4 page folio. 'A Talk With Buster Crabbe' 16 page interview and photo spread. Awesome 4 page folio by Kenneth Smith. Michael William Kaluta 4 page 'Crash Landing' comic spread. Back cover by Frank Frazetta.

There is an inscription and signature on title page addressed to 'Don' the longtime comic collector and dealer who's estate I acquired it from. I think the signature says 'Reed'. I cannot find another Reed Crandall autograph to compare the writing to. The other Heritage magazine I'm selling is signed by Gray Morrow, so I have reason to believe this is a notable signature by someone involved in the making of the magazine and the most logical conclusion is Reed. It looks more like 'Red', but I am positive it begins with 'R' ends in a 'D' based on the 'D' he lettered above. Further, the inscription says 'thanks for waiting' implying it came directly from the publishers or artists responsible. With that said please inspect the pictures and if anyone has more information I'd be happy to update the listing.

Condition: Very good. I will not attempt to grade it. The exterior is very clean with only minor imperfections like faint surface indentations and scratches. Very light wear along edges of cover and some noticeable dust and soiling on rear cover periphery. Corners and head and tail of spine dinged very very slightly. The interior is absolutely pristine other than the inscription and signature on the title page. Please inspect the pictures.

Shipped FREE via USPS with appropriate care... Thank YOU!

Payment
I have had to take precautions because of people not paying. You will have 4 days to pay, then an unpaid item case will be opened. From this point you will have another 4 days to pay. That's EIGHT total days, however if you don't pay the case will close and show on your Ebay record. At this time the item will be offered to the next highest bidder or re-listed. A case HAS to be opened to recoup selling fees.

Shipping
I only ship within the US or to eligible Countries through the Ebay Global shipping program (however I don't use this for all items). If it doesn't say I ship to your Country in shipping details, then I won't, no exceptions, sorry. The shipping service will depend on the buyers location and the package weight. I predominantly use Priority Mail unless an item qualifies for First Class, however I will use Parcel Select in some instances particularly if you live out West. I am not a business and I reuse boxes and packaging so my packages aren't always the prettiest, but I do spend a lot of time and effort in ensuring items are packed with care, handled fast and shipped using an expedited service whenever possible.

Bids/Offers

I will NOT end items early via accepting a buy it now price or even respond to people offering amounts in exchange for me ending the item early. If I am selling an item via auction it will not end prematurely unless I made a mistake in the listing or the item was lost/broken. Please keep in mind I like to use free shipping and shipping prices fluctuate quite a bit. This is a consideration during offers. I may sell an item cheaper to someone closer to me opposed to someone bidding out West because the shipping may be a lot cheaper.

Returns/Refunds
I offer returns on all items except for items that are being sold broken for parts/fix. You will have 14 days from the time you receive it to return it, no questions asked. If you simply don't like it or it doesn't fit then you are accountable for the return shipping. If i make an error in the listing (and I will from time to time) then I will pay for the shipping back to me. I will make mistakes. However, threatening to escalate cases etc. won't make the process any more enjoyable. I have been accused of all sorts of things while selling on this platform, but when I make a mistake in a listing or an item doesn't function properly YOU WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED and I will lose money on shipping to and fro.  Just return the item, I will refund you every time. I didn't get good feedback by deceiving people on purpose or taking short cuts

Feedback

I generally leave feedback AFTER the buyer. This is just a little extra confirmation that you received the item and you're happy with it. Regardless, many people still don't leave feedback but after a period of time (enough time where I can assume the item isn't getting returned) I will leave positive feedback whether you have or not.

I am not a business, but an individual who enjoys selling on Ebay very much. This is not my occupation, more a hobby. I source items from all over. Estate sales, garage sales, liquidations, auctions, consignments for friends. I do my best to keep buyers happy and them bidding risk free. If I make a mistake I will go out of my way to make things right and I believe my feedback is a testament to that. THANK YOU!
