Here's the 1947 D.C. COMIC BOOK "BOY COMMANDOS" #24, featuring wartime adventures of the SIMON & KIRBY creation. This issue is highlighted by an appearance of their main arch-enemy CRAZY QUILT, and by a very funny story featuring Brooklyn as a SUPERMAN wannabe.
See attached scans and photos for a closer look. The cover is in poor condition, with significant chipping and pieces missing. It is still attached to the rest of the book (barely) and is somewhat brittle. The pages inside are in very good condition, though the centerfold is loose at the top staple (bottom staple is tight). Paper is supple. No writing or or coloring inside; a solid book. Overall, a good reading copy, certainly suitable for upgrade if you have a nice cover or a better copy needing a centerfold. There are no tape or other repairs; the book is entirely unrestored. You should make this purchase based on your own assessment of condition.
