Item Description:

Inspired from the comic pages of the DC Universe, we present the Gotham Knight, Batman Sixth Scale Figure. Sideshow is proud to debut the highly anticipated next Hero in their DC Comics Sixth Scale Figure Collection, Batman. Intricately detailed by the following Gotham artisans, Bernardo Esquivel (Paint), Mike Najera (Paint), Tim Niver (Sculpt), Michael Norman (Sculpt), Adrienne Smith (Sculpt), Pia (Sculpt), Kevin Ellis (Costume Fabrication), Esther Skandunas (Costume Fabrication) and the SideshowDesign & Development Team.

Batman's first appearance was in Detective Comics #27 (May, 1939). Batman was created by artist, Bob Kane and writer, Bill Finger. Originally named "The Bat-Man", the character is also referred to by such epithets as "The Caped Crusader", "The Dark Knight" and "The World's Greatest Dectective".

In May 2011, Batman placed second on IGN'S Top Comic Book Heroes of All Time, after Superman. Empire Magazine listed him second in their 50 Greatest Comic Book Characters of All Time.

The Batman figure features a fully articulated Batman body, Three Portraits (Short Ears, Medium Ears, and Long Ears), Three Swappable Expressions - compatible with the Batman Sixth Scale Figure, detailed gold belt with fabric pouches, grey bodysuit with Batman chest logo, black full length Cape, black Shorts, black Boots, black stylized Gloves, Two (2) Batarangs, One (1) Grapnel Dart Gun, Folding Grappling Hook with Rope, One (1) Fist with Kryptonite Ring and various alternately posed gloved Hands to name a few. Of course the Dark Defender is lovingly hand painted & finished to exacting standards which Sideshow is famous for.
